TREASURE MOUNTAIN : Chasing Sea of Clouds

"How far can you go in finding that perfect spot for sea of clouds viewing?"

For me, I traveled all the way to Kiltepan, Sagada just to witness sea of clouds. That was my first time and the experience had created that wanting in me to witness it again. So, when my friend informed me that there's this place in Rizal known for the sea of clouds viewing, I immediately decided to join the trip going there.

Treasure Mountain is a place for those who like me, is hoping to witness sea of cloud. But there's no guarantee. There were days that it is not present - just like when we have our visit. But I can say that we never got disappointed because of it's amazing view.

We arrived arrived here at around 4:30 AM, still dark. We did registered first. So we waited. I love how we witness the sun rises slowly and how it turned the darkness into misty orange, until the sun rose completely. I forgot that we came here for the sea of clouds, waiting for the sunrise already overwhelms me.

Hello Mr. Sun!

While the sun started to rise, we looked for a spot where we can take pictures. Our favorite was with this rock formation.

There were also groups who stayed overnight. We saw their tents on the camping area. They also have kubo rentals if you are not comfortable sleeping in a tent. See rates below.
