Crystal Beach Resort : A Go-To For Unwinding

Writer's picture: sayaramaesayaramae

It's been two months since the last time that we went out of Manila for a short vacation. And so, me and my siblings decided to look for a beach to unwind and relax. After researching, we came across Crystal Beach Resort's pictures in facebook - read some reviews and blogs. Then that's it, we packed our things and get ourselves ready for a getaway on the said resort.

I believe it's ok to escape from your usual routine once in a while. Sometimes you need to remove stress and just rest your mind. :) Work has always been work. Traffic has always been traffic. A lot of stuff to do and expectations to accomplish. So draining. I need to re-charge. This is the purpose of this trip.

Crystal Beach Resort is located in Brgy. La Paz, San Narcisco, Zambales. It's a 4 hours drive away from Manila.

We left Manila at 9:00 AM of Thursday. We wanted to avoid the crowd so we went there on weekdays.

How did we get there?

We bought our tickets in Victory Liner Station in Cubao bound to Iba, Zambales. They also have terminals in Pasay, Caloocan or Sampaloc. For the schedule, check out this page and enter your origin and destination (Iba). Tell the conductor to drop you off in San Narciso, Zambales. Fare: Php 315. Get off near San Sebastian Church in San Narciso, Zambales. Ride a tricycle to Crystal Beach Resort. Fare: P30 for 2 pax.

We did't reserve a room before hand because we just didn't. :) I was actually confident that there will be available rooms since it's weekdays. Though, it's still advisable to book online - to be sure.

We arrived there 1:40 PM just in time to register and check in. (Check in time - 2PM : Check out time - 12:00 noon). We got an air-conditioned room for 3. (For Room Rates please check their website because it might be different from the time I posted this to the time you read this blog).

Look how cute their complimentary stuff in the room.

After setting our stuff. We just rest a bit then started to explore the area. The first thing that got our attention is this bamboo "hallway". I don't know what to call this. But it was so cute.

They also have massage and tattoo area. But it's not available when we get there. Or we need to inform the admin if we wanted to avail. Well, we don't have plans so it didn't matter.

Look how beautiful these trees are. So perfect for an IG picture. :)

They also have tents available for those who wanted to experience glamping. They have different rooms and cottages to meet different needs. They have small rooms for couples, and bigger rooms for groups of friends or family. It's up to you to pick which style suits you.

This is a campsite for those who wants to set up their tents.

The place is actually huge and peaceful. The beach has a nice view. They have small huts and beaches where we enjoyed watching the sunset.

We took our dinner in their restaurant. Meals are a bit expensive. But it's ok. Masarap naman. :) And I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet the next day. A wide variety of choices. :)

On our day two, after eating breakfast we continued exploring the area. We found this cute area - they called jungle. It has cottages at the side and surfing pads for those who wanted to try surfing.

Another campsite.

These are some of their cute areas.

It's time for swimming.

I really enjoyed our stay at the resort. Though I wish they also have swimming pool. Wow! Nagrequest. :)

We will definitely comeback.
