Taking some time away from your usual routine isn't bad, right? It will help you to re-charge, rest and unwind. Sometimes, we really need a diversion to keep us from stress. Well, this is me talking to myself. :)

My friend Jin who's celebrating their anniversary with his girlfriend invited the squad to join them on their trip going to Puerto Galera. And so, I decided to join in because it's been 3 months since the last time that we went to a beach. The squad isn't complete but we were able to come up with a group of seven - Jin, Cath, Ivann, Joy, Jhulie, May and me.

couples at the front, singles at the back :)

How to go to Puerto Galera?

Our meet up place is in LRT Buendia at 5 AM. Then we rode a bus going to Batangas Port (Php168.00) . From Batangas Port, there's an option to ride a boat or ferry. We decided to take the ferry ride since the weather is a bit gloomy that day. We purchased our tickets online but ferry companies has booth on the port that are selling tickets. After the ferry ride, we went directly to our hotel via tricycle (Php 100 per trip/ 4 people).

We actually don't have itinerary since we wanted the trip to be a free flowing trip.

DAY 1: Island Hopping

For our first day, we decided to go on an Island Hopping. We rented a boat for Php 1500.00 for our group. Destinations are Boquete Island, San Antonio Island, Haligi Beach, Banayan Beach and Coral Garden.

And my favorite part is when we explore the coral garden. For this we have to rent a small boat for Php 200.00 each because our boat is too big and might destroy the corals. For this activity, we hold onto the rope of the boat while snorkeling.

Then we reached the popular spot, where we can feed the fish with pieces of bread (provided by the boatman).

Day 2 : Water Activities / Night Life

We spent our 2nd day at the White Beach. We did tried water activities such as Tornado and Flying Fish.

Riding this Tornado is the most intense water activity that we've tried. There are lot of times when I almost slipped going off to the water. It was really fun.

At night, we ate at a restaurant in front of the beach and watched free comedy shows and those who are doing fire dancing.

Look at that iced tea on that big Tanduay bottle. :) haha

Day 3 : White Beach

Hangout at the beach is what we did on our last day. Swimming and buying pasalubong before going home.

It was an enjoyable trip. Maybe also because I was able to spend it with my friends. I feel like I am ready to face the city again. haha

I'm an ECE by profession and a traveler by heart. A timid, introvert girl who wants to step out of her comfort zone.

I just woke up one day dreaming to discover and experience what life has to offer. I don’t want to lock up myself from the 4 walls of my workplace.

This blog is a personal diary of  my experiences that I wanted to share.
