3D2N Cebu Itinerary - The Queen City of the South

"Uy guys may promo pa Cebu. Kuha tayo".

It all started with that. Me and my friends took the promo advantage and booked our flight going to Cebu. It was 9 months in the making. Enough time to prepare and save money. After we booked for our tickets, we immediately planned our trip - the itinerary, accommodation, transportation while we are in Cebu and of course the budget.

Well, my friends planned it. I am the "Ok na? Sige game ako" - in our barkada. haha

There are lot of suggestions but since we only have limited time, we came up with these list of places to visit.

Day 1 : Oslob - Sumilon Island - Tumalog Falls - Pescador Island - Moalboal - Badian Cebu

OSLOB WHALE WATCHING - It is located in Brgy. Tan-awan, Oslob. This is actually what I'm looking forward in our Cebu trip. I really wanted to experience whale watching and I'm glad I was able to crossed it out from my bucket list.

I hope all the tourist will follow the rules and guidelines to prevent harming the whale sharks. Be careful not to touch them. It is also not allowed to use sunblock because these chemicals may harm them.

SUMILON ISLAND - It is a short boat ride from Oslob. I love the blue-water and it's sandbar.

TUMALOG FALLS - It's a natural attraction, usually a side-trip of Oslob whale watching. It has fantastic gossamer or horsetail-like waterfalls.

PESCADOR ISLAND - After Tumalog Falls, we traveled for more than an hour going to Tañon Strait, a few kilometers from the western coast of the island of Cebu. This is also where we stayed for a night. After we settled our things in our hotel, we rented a boat for our island hopping - Pescador Island and Moalboal Sardines run.

We saw dolphins swimming from a far during our boat ride. Too bad I wasn't able to take a photo.

It's snorkeling time with the beautiful corals and small fishes.

MOALBOAL SARDINES RUN - It's a paradise for divers as they say. Truly enough, my friends and I did enjoyed swimming with a lot of sardines. For us who can't dive, snorkeling is enough. We can still see millions of sardines from the depth we can only reach.

I guess swimming is not enough and we must start our diving lesson.

Day 2 : Alegria Badian Canyoneering - Kawasan Falls - Osmenia Peak

FULL COURSE CANYONEERING - While others are choosing the normal canyoneering, our squad chosen the real adventure. We finished the Alegria to Badian route - no skip and no shortcut. It involves trekking, crossing rock formations, walking over creeks and streams, traversing canyons, and jumping off high waterfalls.

KAWASAN FALLS - We spent our time swimming here. To be honest it wasn't the one that I am expecting. Maybe because it's a bit crowded when we got here.

SIMALA CHURCH - This is one of the most popular churches in Cebu. Short skits and shorts are not allowed. Good thing there's a long skirt rental outside the gate for only Php 20.00.

This is me and my sister with the skirt that we rented.

Day 3 : Cebu Sightseeing - Our last day was spent on sightseeing. We went to some famous places in Cebu.

TAOIST TEMPLE

MAGELLAN'S CROSS

Basílica Minore del Santo Niño de Cebú

TEMPLE OF LEA

FORT SAN PEDRO

LA VIE PARISIENNE

And of course, the last part is buying "pasalubong". :)
